Nitrous Issues with an LT1
Nitrous Issues with an LT1
Hi,
Ive been looking around and finding as much info as I can about nitrous. Many of you guys here on this board stated that it is safe and it will not harm our car if used right. But then again some of you say that Nitrous will mess up the engine. I need to get this clarified, becuase Im debating on whether or not nitrous would be my choice, becuase Im not going to spend the money for a rebuild... You get what im saying?

How many miles are on the motor???
They are right NOS is safe if used correctly, but you have to understand that you are putting your motor under more stress and stress causes it to ware fasters. They is deffintly a risk involved, if you keep the shot low (around 75) and don't ran it everday, you still stand a chance at blowing the motor.
My advise for you is don't do it if you don't want to rebuild.
