i say go for it. Im thinking about a 75-100 shot for me . I think a 150 shot would be the absolute most on a stock lt1 and still, i dont think it would last to long.

I've been wanting to spray mine also, i think about a 100 shot would be all i would want to go. I think any more, and we would be looking to rebuild before too long .

The LT1 will easily handle 100 to 125 shot as many times as you want to hit it! A lot of guys run 150 shot all the time as well with little trouble. I would say run 100-125 on the street and 150 at the track if it suites you. IMHO a 150 shot is as high as you should go on 93 octane fuel and no timing retard. Also go with a wet system much more tunable and user friendly than a dry setup. Then just be prepared to anialate your street tires!

As long as you are safe ie...FPSS, window switch, timing retard, etc etc etc....you should be fine.

But remember even with every precaution you can think of, it's not really a matter of if but when. Some people can get away with spraying a 150 shot on a 120,XXX mile motor countless times without a problem and others can shatter a piston, collapse a ringland, etc after 6 months on a 100 shot.

Just be safe about it and have fun but don't be surprised if you're looking at a rebuild down the road.

I have a 100 shot. I think 150 is too much for a stock. I agree w/ what GhostZ said. FPSS = fuel pressure safety switch incase you didn't know. Also, get new tires for sure.
