nine inch bearings.

I just bought a new Moser 9 inch off a guy and I have a question about the axle bearings.
Does the spacer get pressed on before the bearing gets pressed on? Also, how can you tell which side of the bearing is suppose to be facing out towards the wheel side of the axle.
I didn`t get any instructions and I have never messed with a 9 inch before.

Is there a website that has info on nine inch rears? I can`t find any type of guide on them at all. All I need to know is how the stupid bearings go on!

The bearing gets pressed on first, then the spacer. The 'spacer' is actually a 'lock' collar that prevents the bearing from sliding off.

If you ever have to change the bearing, the lock collar must be chiseled off, then press the bearing off the axle.

As for which way the bearing must face, I don't remember which way I put mine in. Do you have the O-ring style bearing? If I had to guess I'd put the side with the O-ring facing inward (toward the pumpkin). Maybe someone will chime in with a definite answer.

Thanks,
I already pressed it on, but I put the o-ring towards the wheel side. The bearing stuck out further on that side so I assumed that went up against the collar on the axle.
