NGKTR55 plugs

I have heard that these plugs work great on the lt1's is their any performance differnce between those and the original equipment, how much?

I heard that too but My car ran like crap with them, Im back to using stock plugs.

i heard those and champions are good.... as far as his question im curious too, and what about spark plug wires? anyone recommend after market ones???? which benefits and modifcations would i have to make in getting different plug wires?

They are working great on my car. Just make sure you manually gap them to 0.050" before you install them.

i have a question i have a hesitation-stumble misfire what ever you want to call it but i can only really notice it when the a/c is on does that sound like the plugs to yall cuase as far as i know they havent ever been changed just because they are so hard to do is this costing me performnace and gas milage??

i wanna get new high performance plugs, do they increase horsepower at all? how about spark plug wires?

Spark plugs and Wires have been debated many times in this forum..

If you do a search, you will see.. Everyone has their own opinion one this subject....

Its trial and error on your motor...They all respond different..

I have tried just about ever plug on my engine and didnt really noticed any difference, but it is stock....

As for wires MSd super conductors are for me because they provide less resistance ( 50 OHMs per foot) than most other brands... But now some companies are going to 40 OHMS per foot....

Yeah, I don't consider plugs a HP mod. I didn't notice a big difference with the NGK's, but I just didn't like the fact that stock plugs had the platinum pucks fall off.

less resistance in plugwires isnt always better, if it was we would all run copper wires that have .0001 ohm of resistance. more resistance = hotter spark but you have to have a coil capable of generating the higher voltage required. No aftermarket plugs or wires will give a HP increase on a stock car unless the oens you are taking off were bad to begin with.
