NGK TR55's and Gapping
NGK TR55's and Gapping
Out of the box almost all my TR55's seemed to have a slightly bigger than .050 gap, almost .060. Just thought I'd let everyone know that its probably not a bad idea to check the gaps on your plugs before putting them in (instead of assuming theyre all .050)
Re: NGK TR55's and Gapping
Well guess my mechanic isnt as great as i thought he was, as im pulling out my old plugs they've been gapped so far at .060 (well closer to .062 or something), guess if it runs when you leave the shop you'll never know until you check em.
Oh btw the plugs my car was previously using were TR55GP (platium ones). When i was watching my mechanic install the plug a long time ago i dont recall him gapping them. I didnt know anything about gapping them either back in the day
