Next mods....

This is for my friend with a 95 T/A with CAI, catback and cutout as only mods.

He is doing this project in two waves, simply because he cannot afford them all at once.
He needs some help deciding what cam to go with. He really doesn't want the hotcam.

First wave:
Hooker Jet hot Coated Long Tubes
Comp Cam (possibly custom grind)
Valve springs
Retainers
1.6 Rockers
Taylor Wires
New Spark plugs
Fix the intake leak

Second Wave:
Vig Stall Convertor (size?)
3.42 gears
Tranny Cooler
Nitto's

Some one want to help him out. He ran a 14.3 with 2.2 60ft stock, and a 14.1 with a 2.1 60ft two weeks ago with his current mods. What times do you think he will run after the 1st wave and then after the 2nd wave. Also, what rwhp do you think he will be putting down after the 1st wave.

I would go with the headers next. And while you are doing that, go ahead and do the plugs and wires b/c that will be the easiest time to change them.

while he's doing the rockers, he should also do a cam. both 1.6RRs and valvesprings, with a hotcam can be had for $450, btw.

I think your buddy should do some maintanence type things first, because 14.1 with an intake, and cutout seems kinda slow. Fix the intake leak! Get those long tubes and do plugs and over the valve cover wires at the same time. Should feel like a whole new car.

lowest stall i'd get would be a 2800...

Most i'd go would be 3200...some say 3600 but you'll run into some pcm problems, that can be fixed though by pcmforless.com

Thats JMO, but i had bought a stall that was a restalled Vig 3000, so im right in the middle
