newtimes with slp's

do these times seem right:

best run was- R/T: .095
60 FT: 1.95
1/8 MI: 8.85
ET: 13.84@98.92

i thought that the headers alone would shave off .2, and i did the headers, y-pipe, 8mm spiro OVC taylors, ngk's tr55 and an off-road pipe. i am hoking ok off the line. my old times are in my sig. oh and if i did the !egr would that hurt me at all??

Damn you picked up over 3mph, that rocks!! Doing !EGR is pointless if you have it hooked up already.

well the thing with the egr is that when i was pulling the stock mans out the pipe that went to the pass side WOULD NOT come out, so after messin with it for about 3 or so hrs i just cut the pip about 3 inches above the man. i didnt take everything off, i just cut the pipe and then put a rubber cap on the pipe.

Take a look at this 'mod'
http://www.zmydust.com/headers/longtubes086.jpg

Remove the thing from the back of the intake manifold, cut all but about 1" off, pinch it shut in a vice, and RTV the heck outta it.

That is exactly what I did and it has worked fine so far.

I picked up 3mph & .3 with my SLP shorties.

The plug access & design of these headers is horrible though.
I'm going to JH LTs with my new motor
