Newbie here, a few questions

Hello- I am currently in the market for an Z. I just wanted to ask the experts on what year is your favorite. I will have about 6,000 to spend and the Z has to be an M6. I currently own a 96 Impala SS so I am somewhat familiar with the LT-1's. I would really prefer an OBD-1 car, but that is not the most important. I know with only 5-6$ I will end up purchasing a high mileage car, so what exactly should I look for? Thanks for any help

5-6 could get ya one with 50-70k miles on it. Not sure what ua want to check but I know that if the engine was diven hard it won't last as long. The person that had my car b4 me didn't change the transmisison fluid so I had to reaplce the tranny at 95k. My Cd player doesn't shoot out the cd's some times so I would check that. Everything I think is a given on car buying. check everything to make sure it was takin care of it. By the wya my favorite lt1 is the 95 but 97 SS ann. ed. are nice.

Yeah, I have been looking for a while, but haven't found one with 50-70K miles for $5-6. The M6 seems to be even more rare. BTW- the Camaro in the above auction seems to have a rebuilt title, thats why it is so cheap.
