New Z28 owner, fuel pressure issue.

HI i just bought a 1997 Z28 camaro M6, and it’s a little hard to start. But runs great.

The fuel pressure is at 36-37 psi at idel, and rises to 41-43psi at WOT, But at soon as i shut the motor off it instantly drops to zero. I was thinking a leaking injector but its to fast.

Holding it at WOT does not help it start any better. So im thinking it’s the fuel check valve in the pump is bad?

Also its got a K&N filter and that is it, What do i start with for more power.

You also might want to check the fpr, they are known to leak. remove the vacuum line ave see if there is any fuel there. if the line is wet or has fuel in it replace the fpr with a stock replacement.

as far as mods and those being bolt-ons, I saw the biggest change from headers , CAI and a cat back system.
