New to the z28 and need help

Hi I'm 17 and finally got enough money saved up to buy my 94 red z28. I love it, but you know how it goes you always want more. I have a few ?'s what do roller rockers do?? and how do they install etc etc.. i read something earlier about 1.6rr's are the best. Also what are some other good mods I can do to my car to get some good hp gains?

Welcome to the board and to the F-body, you're going to love it!Roller rockers open the valves higher with less friciton. They are not to easy to install, get some experence first. I am doing them on my car this weekend. Good mods to start with are Cold Air Induction (cai), a cutout, a catback, or a throttle body airfoil. BTW is the car an auto or manual?

the stock rockers are non roller and they are about 1:5 ratio. a 1:6 rocker will open the valve a little more. so every rocker will open the valve more only a higher ratio rocker will do that. Also there are two type of roller rockers. the cheap kind are just roller tiped when full rocker are roller tiped and roller fulcrom. And roller rockers are easy to install if your are mech inclined. Just look up an install site to get the idea.
