Went to Atco Raceway in Jersey on Monday to see if the new mods made a difference. (AS&M headers, Random Tech Y-Pipe, 42lb injectors, custom tune from pcmforless.) I ran a best of 12.61 with bfg drag radials. I have to get back up to the dyno to double check the hp/tq. because I did alot better than I expected. It was a good day. Before the mods I couldn't run better than 12.97 with the BFG's.

 

what was the mph and 60' time? sounds like you need traction.

 

60' time was a 1.885, mph was only 104, because 5th gear grinded on the 1st try. I was averaging about 111 mph when it went into 5th. but those runs I had bad 60' times so I didn't get a better time. I can't seem to get good 60' times with those tires but it was also cool out so that may have made a difference.

 

How high are you spinning it??? Shouldn't be going into 5th.
