New times on LE2 heads

Got the last test and tune of the year. Had to see if I could better my times from the last outing. My last best was 12.42@109 so heres how it went:

1st run
.160 reaction
1.66 60ft
7.74@87.80 18
12.18@111.52 1/4

2nd run
.108 reaction
1.67 60ft
7.75@87.78 1/8
12.21@111.22 1/4

3rd run
-.046 reaction
1.67 60ft
7.75@87.74 1/8
12.23@110.95 1/4

This boat is still amazing me. It gets better and better evry time out. Lloyd rocks. Havent even installed the LE2 cam yet. Still running the CC 503 XE224/230 shifting at 6200 rpms. All times are N/A @ 4400lbs Ok i took the spare out of the trunk. Is that cheating. 11's next spring.

Nicely done. I thought for a second your trap speed was low, then I saw you were carring an extra 1/2 ton. You'll see 11's next year! Props to Lloyd.

Re: New times on LE2 heads

God. I wish I could but I think I have a torque converter problem. If you noticed my 2nd and 3rd runs the car got slower. In third gear the car was dropping rpms (about 200) for a split second and would got backup. I think it is trying to lockup. So I need to call Bryan Herter (PCMFORLESS) and get his opinion. He took third gear lockup out. I'll see what he has to say. Don't want take a chance of frying the converter or tranny. But thanks for the offer.

Runs were made at Mountain Park Dragway Clay City KY. I run the Super Yank 3500 with a 1.6 STR. It is 4 years old with never a problem and has been thru two tranny blow ups. I think it is time to send it back to Yank and be rebuilt.

Re: New times on LE2 heads

I dont have a vid of the 12.18 run ( girlfriend didn't go with me this time) but have vids of a 12.42 and 12.47 run the last time I was at the track. What is the best way to post them here. Let me know.
