new throttle body?

i was just wondering if a 52mm throttle body is really worth it especially for $300+ dollars. My lt1 is mostly stock except for a high flow cat, cold air, cat back exhaust?

With just those mods, you won't feel it. Probably a better throttle response, but I doubt you'll be able to feel much. Possibly a gain in top end, but won't be huge.

You really need to be putting 400 to the ground to make them worth it.

The better option to wasting $300-$400 on a TB is spending half that for one of NOMAD's 52mm TBs made from stock cores. Mine should be on the way soon. Lots of guys here on the board run his TB's though so do a search on it and find a bunch of info. But yes Red96LT1 is right, you need to be making power around the upper 300 rwhp to make a 52mm worth it. I'm doing heads/cam this winter and just getting all the supporting mods done throughout the year.
