New Roller Rockers.

New Roller Rockers.
I am looking into a new set of rockers.
The ones I have a fine but they are getting a little up there in miles.
I was looking at the Comp Cams Pro Magnum stainless rockers part #1305-16 with a new set of comp26918 or pac1218 springs, with manley guide plates 42355-8 or comparable (need part#).
Will the rockers fit under the center bolt style covers and will these guide plates work on LT1 heads? Where can I get a set of 7/16" studs at a decent price and what lenght do I need?
Thanks for the help.

I think the comps are cheap.....I have 1.5 stainless comps on exaust and 1.6 on intake...side by side crower is a hell of alot better product.
Isky guideplates are the ticket.....and for the price of all of this you can get the jesel set-up. I know Ai has them on the shelf ready to go for $800 or less and they fit under the stock covers and way easier to work with once its set up.

As much as I would love to buy shaft mounts the price of those alone excedes my budget.
I also need springs, locks, retainers, and studs.
Are the Isky guides easy to work with? I have sausage fingers and will be doing this on the car.
I am not too concerned from buying from multiple vendors There are a few places local that I can get parts from them at great prices.
If the comps are junk then what kind of rockers are good at a decent price?
I want to lighten the valvetrain hence the stainless rockers.
Will the promag rockers not work on these heads?

I wish I would have went shafts is all I meant. by the time you buy everthing it adds up quick and the shafts are not much more.
The comps are o.k. but the crower are better
The isky are good b/c they are adjustable so you set up each stud so they can all be perfect

The Comps are good there are just better out there.
The Isky's are a bit of hassle as they want to move as you torque the stud but if you want plates that really fit they are THE answer. I tried the GMPP ones and while they fit better than Comp they still were not right and after 8-9K they were wearing notches where the pushrods traveled.
