New problem... video.

Cars are retarded, fix one problem and another arises.

Fixed my voltage problem, and the starting thing came, fixed that and now this happens.

Changed the opti out blah blah, start the car and go to the front of the car to bleed the cooling system. Get there and the car shuts off. Restart with no problem, sit there while it idles for a little bit then walk back to the front of the car and it shuts off again.

Well made a video, it's a little long but whatever (~3mins). The first time and third time the car shuts off in the video is the problem I am talking about, the second and fourth time I shut the car off my self.

Fuel pressure is fine throughout, no bleed off, no pressure drop what so ever. I am about to go out side and scan the car for any codes (no SES light) and will post back with the results, but for now there's the video.

One thing I do know is that I need to re-adjust the rockers, but I don't know if that would cause this.

No codes, I don't know what this could be.

wish I could help, only thing I can remember from changing out the opti was the plug wires don't always click into place like they should. That happened to me but luckily it was just one cylinder on the opti, so it just ran rough on 7. maybe the coil wire isn't in all the way causing a no-spark occasionally?

you said that you were going to scan the car for codes, do you have a scanner that tells you engine rpm? if so check what happens to the rpm signal just prior to the car stalling.

Were you playing with the throttle or is your RPM's always that jumpy??

Love how the Oil pressure jumps around as well with the revs. Car sounds ok but you dont seam to have a smooth RPM Idle.

here we go-you have spark (or a signal to make it happen). go get some berryman B12 chemtool and give the motor a shot of it in the intake tract when it seems like it is going to quit. if she keeps running you can start to narrow it down. internal combustion=fuel/air/spark. keep narrowing it down-you will figure it out.

Not me, just the way it was idling for some reason.

It ran fine before the opti took a crap a week or so ago.

Not on video, but I have held the throttle down slightly, ~2200ish, and kept it there for a little while just to have the car shut off while at 2200ish. It's weird, I can't really think of any reasons right now for that to happen. Give it some time and I am sure I can figure something out, but hopefully you guys can move the process along a little faster for me, lol.

I had the same type of problem when i changed my opti out i bought an off brand opti and put it in and and it ran great but out of no where just shut off and when i tried to restart it my car wouldnt start so i took the opti off thinkin it jumped timing but it didnt. So i put it back in bled the coolant and started her up and started just fine took it around the block and started to back fire like crazy so i pushed it back to my garage cause it stalled on me again at that point. So i changed the coil and checked all the plugs and everything seemed fine no codes or any lights. I ended up taking that opti off six times and drained my area out of water pump gaskets. I figured it was the opti took it back got one from gm and no problems now.

Pull your IAC off and clean it. It's bolted to the bottom of the throttle body.

You have an ignition problem. Not sure if its you plugs, wires,ICM, opti...etc. Its not fuel related . Good luck bud.

When is the next time you are going to be in Orlando?

Might want you to take a look at this tune a little... might be able to get a little more out of it with the LTCC, it was tuned before I put that on.

It very well could be since its the opti from my heads/cam/intake motor in the garage. Hopefully not though because I don't have the money for a new one at the moment, which is why I used the one of my other motor.
