Has anyone tried this new Opti out yet? If so, what were your results from 6500-7200 rpm?

Thanks in advance for all replies

Re: New Optispark from MSD

I am wondering about the same things Coolformula. No price is posted on the MSD site. I'll probably give em a call later today just for a price.

Not sure how long this Opti has been out. Hope to get some more replies from someone that has one.

It's only a cap and rotor, not the whole opti. You still have to use your optical sensor. Not trying to be an *** but, if you'll do a search you'll see this has been discussed 4-5 times this month.

Re: New Optispark from MSD

Thanks for the heads up 30696bird, but I ran a number of searches using MSD Optispark seperate and togethor as key words. Came up with nothing.

If you can point me in the right direction on some threads about this Opti..... that would be Great!

By the way, you're not being an ***

Here are a couple........... http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...light=msd+opti , http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...light=msd+opti , If you scroll all the way up on this screen it's almost right in the middle of the screen, you'll see a tab that says search, click on it, type MSD opti that's what I did. Good luck!

Re: New Optispark from MSD

Thanks Man.

Glad I did not get my hopes up too high. Looks like I'm still going the Bob Bailey/Deltec route. I heard the Dynaspark is also prone to the same problems as the stock opti at high rpms.

That's where I need an ignition safety net.

Gentlemen, Please let me know if I am missing any other alternatives to the Opti in order to spin to 7200 rpm
