New Leak

My mom mentioned to me that she saw a leak from my car in the garage since i go to school before she leaves for work and she saw as she was gettin into her car...

it seems to be around where the battery is...thats my best guess... since i already moved the car...so i got underneath it and i look up and follow the tubing and i see where it has splattered...at first i was thinkin it was oil..but it is pitch black and around the puddle there is a yellow ring....so yea... and it is really goopy...like a paste....by the way the car sat all yesterday...my buddy gave me a ride to school...carpool style..haha saving on gas...does anyone have any clue... plus there seems to be the same sticky sh*t on the side of the battery....any ideas?

Sometimes my moms car ac leaves a puddle with a yellow ring: it is water condensation from the ac. I am thinking it is battery acid leaking out. I would look that thing over real good. Battery acid can eat alot of stuff, like paint, and plastics (dont ask how i know). It could also be your oil from you ac compressor (dont ask how i know that either) but mine was a, well, goopy pee colored, but more clearish oil. Good luck in finding your goop leak Oh yeah look at your coolant and take a little out and put it on the ground to see if it dries the same color. I really doubt it is coolant, but ya never know.
