Welcome aboard. Is your car a M6(6-speed) or and A4(atuo)? That has a little to do with it but first, I would put an intake on there and get you a good set of headers. Just get the thing breathing good in and out. Thats as far as I have gotten on my car. All the free mods or course.(do a search for them) That would be a good start. Again, welcome to the club. If you ever have any questions about your car, ask it. I always do. There is someone on here who knows, I promise. Good luck and happy modding.

OFF TOPIC-What part of Tennessee are you from? I used to live there.

Bo

Welcome aboard My recommendation would be get a Morroso Cold Air kit, header, Convertor (if your car is an auto), Short throw shifter (if you car is a manual).

If you do a search you will find alot of useful info. Have fun.

Cold Air Intake (CAI)

Then depending on your budget either Hooker Long Tube Headers or Mac shorties.

No, we're talkin about the air filter assy. (filter+tube) That's a cold air intake.

well when the said new intake they ment cold air intake. you need to block the egr valve on the back off the intake. they sell plates all the time on ebay.

well that makes sense .. prolly a lot cheaper than a new intake eh? Why would you block the egr valve if you don't mind my asking

the egr circulates hot gases back in to the rear of the intake wich causes oil leaks. you can block it off for about 10 bucks if that.

okay, and another question... do you have to buy the skip shift eliminator with a new shifter? or can you keep that?
