New Exhaust???

Hey guys i know i dont post here too much, but i was wondering..i am thinking about getting a new exhaust, and some headers. I was thinking of trying to keep my car as emissions compatible as possible... i am in Cook County Illinois, so i have emissions...i was thinking of going with the Spintech Cat back exhaust, and some BBK or Hooker shorty headers. i was wondering what u guys think of this setup? i want something deep and throaty sounding but also have the performance to back it up ya know...well just let me know what all u guys think..Thanks.

Checkout the MAC headers instead if you're going with shorties. Exhaust opinions vary a lot. I would just get a cutout and keep the stock exhaust on it.

I would go with MAC or SLP shorties, and look into a Hooker exhaust... people that have used it have been pretty pleased.

Cutouts are extremely loud and IMO sounds like a dump truck with a bad exhaust

NoOoOo...do not get slp shortie headers, your plug wires will never forgive you. If I were you i would get the mac headers as they have great plug access or some tpis mid length headers. Either or will do just dont get the slp's.

Huh??? Aren't the TPIS midlengths the exact same design as the SLP's? They look really damn close to me!

I had a Camaro following me a few days ago for about a mile. He pulls up next to me and says he likes my exhaust. I told him it was just a cutout. Opinions vary but I enjoy my cutout.
