I just got my rebuilt 355 recently with gm performance 1.6 rr's and crane high energy roller lifters. Nothing has been adjusted on this engine. It has been balanced and what not but all the roller rockers and lifters are at the same height, im assuming I have to lash them. (cut me some slack im new at this!) This engine is ofcourse outside of the car, so does anyone have any advice on things I should do before slapping this engine in?

What kind of oil is good for a fresh rebuild? Synthetic, etc?
