New engine ran great now no spark, ideas?
I will get a refund so that is the good part. I am not sure how anyone can defend the aeromotive afpr, I have had good parts from them before but failure after such a short time? If this learning experience prevents someone else from buying it then it was a good thing..
Don't buy this product, period.
thanks again for all the help fellas..

At the time I bought mine (aeromotive AFPR) it was black/red but the the retailers still had the old picture on the web site and the catalogs. (both Summit and Jegs). The obvious question was it doesn't fit properly and it looks different from the picture so it must be incorrect.
After haggling with Summit I found out the other parts to help make it fit the LT1 fuel rails were left out of the box. The regulator looked different cause they had to change the diaphragm due to some change in gas formulation was causing a problem with the old design. Needless to say I never put it on, it's still sitting in the box and kept the OEM regulator and never had this problem.
Over the years I have read and even experienced problems with other Aeromotive products and the majority have been due to installation errors. Mine included. However, there have been numerous people having the problem with the FPR's and I see no way they could have installation problems that cause the diaphragms to rupture. Therefore like Fred, I too believe the problem to be in the product not the installation unless someone can point out a flaw in my thinking.
