New engine build -- quench question

So I bought a full forged setup, 9cc dish pistons.

Stock deck is 0.017 i'm assuming and i'm looking for 9.5:1 compression atleast.

to get that, i'd have to get a really thick gasket, but doing that makes my quench around 0.090.

They say .050 is the limit for a turbo setup.

What will be the downfall of having a quench this big? Will the engine not run correctly, and have poor performance?

Thanks!

Also: Lloyd Elliot told me stock CC of heads are 54.5 so i'm going off that.

Is there any possible way to utilize these pistons or do i need new ones?

Did you measure the deck height? Most are .025-.030, mine came out to .020 when I measured it though.

Nah, haven't checked that yet, but I believe my quench will still be the same if i try to get the same CR since my pistons are 9cc dish.

Not 100% on that though.

The "quench" area will not be able to "quench" the last ignition charge leading to pre-ignition to hot spots to detonation to destruction.

I heard with forced induction, the quench really has no play. Is this true?

Im not an expert by any means but I would assume quench would play a larger role in a f/i setup. I believe one of the main benefits is cooling hot spots and preventing detonation. you could always get some tfs heads if you dont want to mess with the bottom.
