How do you like driving it with the h/c? see if I ever put a 306 in my motor I wouldnt be posting on the boards. I'd be out side listening to that thing idle

drivability is fine, it sure turns alot of heads...
when it was on the dyno i was video taping it open cutouts and it was so loud it made my camera screw up and hurt your chest.

sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!! I'm assuming thats around what I would expect then. I'm either doing two things, throwing a cc306 in; or putting my BBC in. I'm shootin for the cc306 . But man, just off of a pcmforless.com tune, thats great!

ah......i bet you could pick up a few ponies and more MPH with a good quality dyno tune. im not impressed with the mail order stuff, id use it strictly just to get the car running so it breaks in and makes it to the dyno!

Those are his STD numbers...I think his SAE numbers were around 387 RWHP.

A body of mine put down 369RWHP SAE (522 RWHP 616 RWTQ on a 150 shot) the same day with stock bottom end / heads, CC306, 1.6 Pro-Magnums, all bolt-ons, except for EWP and TB through a 12-bolt with a spool.

Congrats! Those are awsome numbers ...i wish my car put down those numbers.
BTW, how's the idle with the cc306? If you could...or anyone else who has one in their car, just describe as best as you can how it would idle with the cc306 in there... I'm thinking about getting one myself. Sorry I don't mean to hijack your thread...or anything

for comparison, my cam is just a hair more aggressive than the cc306, and mine idles great. i dont even have a perfect tune yet. i had the guy set the idle at 950rpm, perrs like a kitten. thats on a speed density car also.

The 306 is awesome. I have it with 1.6's and it gets a LOT of attention on the street. It idles fine in town, no prob. with drivability. You won't regret it. Pulls awesome on the top...

Ah yes, we were almost fooled...

I made the SAE numbers in my sig with XE230/236. I wonder what my STD # would have been?
