New carpet install

I own a 1993 Z and looking to replace the old carpet. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could save some money and do it myself or can someone tell me were I could get the best deal on a kit? Thanx......

really? Damn that's cool. I want to order a new replacement one so I can ditch my console on my car.

If you want a stock style replacement carpet do not expect it from most aftermarket carpets (there is one guy here that is supposed to sell stock style replacement ones.. maybe do a search?) the aftermarket ones are very light and cheap in construction and material. A plus for a race car, not so good for most street cars.

It's easy to change the carpet btw, just remove console/seats/seat belts mounted to the floor and a few other panels then remove old carpet. Next put in new carpet and cut any needed holes. Install everything back and you are done.

It's definately a do it yourself project. Even for a rookie.

There is a company called fbodycarpet.com. They used to be a sponsor here. They sell high quality carpet kits for our cars.
