new best with Ai top end

Finally got the car to track on a good day with a good tune and ran a 10.69 at 128.8. I am trying to do my own tuning so I think the car might have a little left in it. With the same short block and my old setup it ran 11.70 at 117. I put the trickflow heads, soild roller cam and a converted accel single plane intake on the car this summer and picked up 1 second. I would like to give thanks to Phil for all the help and the great job he did with everything.

I would not say it could be a daily driver but it doesn't do that bad for sort drives.

Ahhh...all you Ai bastards are getting good track times! What is it that you all have in common?

Congrats on the new numbers. What did the run break down look like (60, 1/8, mph etc)? Just curious.

60ft. 1.47

1/8 - 6.79@100.9

I am still using the stock springs and sway bar in the rear and I am getting a little wheel spin on the launch. I am putting a drag bar and springs on it over the winter to try to help the 60ft. times. Also planning on some new parts up front to to get the weight down a little lower.

I hate solid roller engines.
There's hope for the LT1 yet!

Are you still running the stock PCM? What rpm are you shifting at?

I am using a fast xfi so i can make use of the high rpm range of the single plane intake, plus the tuning is so much better. I have been shifting about 7300.

Nice times...I recently picked up a F.A.S.T. system myself...looking forward to it.
