i hit a new best of 13.2@102 60"ft 1.858 1/8th was 8.418 with a lil bit of traction problems due to some old used up slicks and this was all motor hopefulley with some new slicks ill get into the 13.0 or mabey a 12.9

In that case, some better sixty foot times and some weight reduction should net you somewhere in the 12s.

 

Do you have any before and after testing of the 3.73s? Curious because I ran almost the exact times you have with similiar mods, minus the gears. I have MTs now so hopefully I can get some 8.2s this weekend. I only have 1/8 times.

 

what intake elbow do you have?

if metal i would relocate it down into the CAI...

 

i use to hit 13.8 before the gears and tune i did them at the same and the hit a 13.4 and that was 2.73's to 3.73's

i'm assuming you have the stock one...

it is the 90 degree elbow between the throttlebody and MAF sensor...

 

yep i got the stock 1 with the silencer off

 

Nice times, your car seems pretty similar to mine before it went under the knife.


My old times were with just a SLP CAI, Yank 2800 converter, and Motive 3.73's on some old beat up Perellie (sp?) street tires so I couldn't get the car to 60' very good but the car still went 13.2 @ 104.9. I think with the mods on your car being so minimal if you went to a smaller converter you'd definitely see some 12 second passes.

 

Nice, I need to get tires eventually. I was in the low 14s at 102. It took my 109 trap to run those times lol.
