Question Needing Help On Rebuilding The Engine

Ok, I'm going to rebuild my 93Z, but I would like to know if there is a 355 Rebuild kit available. I still want street ability as a daily driver. Is there a kit available or do I have to peice it all to together. I would like Forged Pistons and a good set of Connecting Rods. Not shore if I need to replace my crank yet. I have been looking at Summit Racing and seen a 355 kit available but not shore if that is for the LT1's. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

Summit has a rebuild kit for around $500. If you have the new summit with the big 35th anniversaryon the front, its on page 89. I have bought this kit before. Nice kit. Very complete with high quality parts. You can mix and match parts in these kits if you want. They have forged or hypereucraptic too. Give them a call.

Does not come with a crank. Comes with all the engine bearings, high flow oil pump, pistons, rings, all the gakets, all the freeze plugs, and I think thats about it.Any more questions, just email me.

You can get a nice scat 9000 crank for $3-400 I think. Pretty strong too. Then you can do a 383

I would really like to do a 383, but I have been told that they are not streetable, is this true? I would do a 383 as long as I can drive it as a daily. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the info Trey.
