Exclamation Need Torque Specs for cam install

Hi guys,

I'm about to embark on my cam install. I only lack one tool, which I may end up borrowing from Autozone (hub puller), so what I really need that I haven't found on any of the various cam install docs is torque specs or even guidelines for certain things...

For instance, the oil pump driveshaft.... I assume it would need an inch-pound torque wrench, which I don't have, plus I don't know what the spec is.... This one I really don't want to come off. I can probably borrow an inch-pound torque wrench though (the one I have is a big ft/lbs one), but I also don't want to break anything re-attaching it, nor have anything too loose...

So, please advise guys! Does anyone have a list of the torque specs for the various fasteners that will be removed and re-tightened during an LT1 cam install?

Thanks. BTW, I'm installing the Hotcam kit w/ 1.6RR's.

Thanks,

Michael

You really should get some sort of manual with not only the specs but the tightening sequence for the intake. You want that to be seated perfectly or you will be unhappy with the results!
