Need Timing Cover
Re: Need Timing Cover
Like.. a stock timing cover?
There's no aftermarket timing covers that I know of for our cars. You just have to clearance your stocker.
Put some grease on the chain and bolt the timing cover onto the block. Rotate the engine by hand and see where the grease is rubbed on the cover. Grind it down and test fit it a couple times.
As I like to say..
Better safe than metal shavings!

Re: Need Timing Cover
I have a stock 94 timing cover that has been painted black with high heat temp paint. It looks excellent. It is the 94 non vented version, not the 95 vented version. It has all seals and everything. If you need it just hit me up. You pay shipping and $5 and its yours.
Re: Need Timing Cover
Oh, ok.. in that case..
Basically you could pick up a used one or purchase a new one from someone like Jason Cromer. I can get you some part #'s depending on what you need when I get home.

Re: Need Timing Cover
The best place to post to get it is in the "want to buy" section. It shouldnt run you more than 40.00 for the cover. You will also need a vented opti, a newer opti pig tail, gasket set, and a newer cam for a 95 and up with the longer dowel pin.
Sorry to rain on your parade!
On a happier note it is well worth the extra cost for this though.
