Need thicker head gasket
I blew a head gasket and the head is about 12 thousands bowed in the middle.
If I mill 15 thousandths of the head and then put it back together can I put the intake back on and have it work with the other head that hasn't been milled? Is there a thicker head gasket I could use that is thicker than the stock one (measures to be about 55 thousandths thick) to put the head back up to the same height and compression ratio. Can I put it back together and just not worry about it.
Am I being too lazy to not take the other head off and mill it to match?
