need TB help!!!!

hey guys,

i bought another TB for my motor (still looking for a block) and i decided to clean it up real well..

anyways...i went to remove the screws on the blades and they stripped. every one except one are stuck in the hole.


how do i remove these?


i tried to drill them out but i dont wanna wreck anything. how do i das-assemble a TB?

I know it is a little late, but the butterfly screws are best left alone unless you have a good reason to remove the shaft (cleaning not being a good reason, IMO). The screws are usually "staked", so that they cannot come out (you don't want them ingested by the engine). They can be removed, but as you found out, it is not easily done.

After you get it apart and then find screws to put back into it, you will want to make absolutely certain that they cannot come out on their own.

the thing the blades screw onto?


thats the only way i'm gonna be able to fix this.... hell ...i'm just gonna buy another one
