Need some quick Optima battery help!

I need to buy a deep-cycle battery today, and I was wondering about the models that people have had success with for 93-97 Camaros (I've got a 94). I'm guessing the yellow top model that I would need is the D34/78, but I'd like verification. Do I need any adapters with it, and/or what kind of modifications are required to make it fit? Also, has anyone put a blue top in, despite not having the GM sideposts? Thanks.

I've got a yellow top. Don't know about the specific model, I thought all yellows were the same. You have to wiggle it a bit to make it fit though. No special tools needed.
