Need some insight on what this will do

ok. this will be a long post but i need some insight on what my car is gonna do becuase i live in mustang central. i live in a VERY small town. But yet there 3 yes three 03-04 cobras in town. and at least 3 of the na cobras. im not worried about them ill eat them for a midnight snack. here is what im gonna have after the mod fest.

engine
Stock displacement, gasket matched heads, fully ported intake, 52mm tb, ported maf, ram air, cc503, 1.6rr, crane springs, EWP, egr delete, air delete, and mad z28 tune, 30 lb injectors.

Transmission
Kevlar bands, b&m shift kit, hardened input and output shafts, basically its built. lol. 2400 stall.

Exhaust
Pacesetter Full race long tubes and ORY, Magnaflow catback.

Differential
373s

Suspension
Subframe Connectors, Lakewood lower control arms, lca relo brackets, eibach springs, poly motor mounts and trans mount. poly sway bushings front and rear.

thats about it. on the gears a cold air and a 2 1/4 dual exhaust setup i ran 13.56. there is one cobra that has a pulley and header back exhaust, would like to beat him N/A but dont think i can. im thinking ill have to put some spray into the mix. The short block i used is a stock 4 bolt main, so do you all think i will be ok with these mods and a 150 wet shot? im thinking with the wet shot ill be able to get him by 2 cars or better...

Well the 03/04 cobras with a pulley and header back exhaust around here have run anywhere from low 12's to mid/high 11's........I don't think you can hang. no offense to you, but you're going to need more than what you've got.....sorry

I agree with Crash..you will need much more to hang with a blown cobra.

ok

from what i have read here, a lot of cars with the same mods as mine run low 12s with the cc503 and supporting mods..but maybe i was misinformed...

you should be able to get into the mid/low 12s. Get a bigger stall

JUST read my details below incase i forget anything... but anyhow....hot cam, 30lb accel injectors, ls7 lifter, 1.6 crane golds, 52mm TB, crappy autozone cold air intake LOL!, ac delete, shorty edelbrock **** headers with edelbrock muffler (old header exhaust setup since i bought the car). and STOCK, YES, STOCK 273 gears hehe..... I honestly thought he would get me... But i got him in the 1/4 mile you can say. But in the long run he will leave me behind like 2 cars maybe? IDK... check it out....

To the OP. What's your elevation? You should be running considerably quicker then what you posted. I ran those times at nearly sea level with just an intake, lt's, ORY and cat back.

I think you will win from a stop from light to light; 1/4mi or less. A roll race might be different though you need to use your advantage of the 373's and stall. But you never really know what these blown cobras are putting down; it dose not take much to make big power with them. A 3200 yank stall and good traction will help also; just hope your rear end holds.

lets put it this way. Ran a full bolt on 95 formy. Cold air, pullies, elbow, 3.73's, shorty (yes shorty) headers, flowcrapter cat-back, 2800 stall with cooler and a shift kit with a 150 shot with a line-loc and a drag radial. Car ran 11.50 on the gun. Now I know that a pullied and exhausted terminator powered cobra runs right there if not a bit quicker...depends on the driver of course. Truthfully what hurts you the most are the lowering springs. They're a little too stiff to get you the good weight transfer you'll need for a really good launch. Now don't get me wrong you'll definitely give him a run for his money, I just don't think you'll get him in the big end. Unfortunately the terminator cars are really well designed from ford. They really don't need much to turn phenomenal numbers at the drag strip. The cam will help a little, but you really need to get the n/a time figured out.....the above car ran 12.50 before the spray, so that should give youan idea of where you sit....

i was thinking

i was thinking that i would be somewhere around12.2-12.5 almost all the other full bolton full exhaust and mild suspension cars ive seen run around 12.2. then with a 150 shot on top of that hell ill be below 11.5. the absolute very best ive heard of that modded cobra in town running was 11.4 but that was on slicks and skinnies with an EXTREMELY hard launch. i know ill have to do something about the lowering springs. what im thinking will work with that is a pair of agx adjustables, bigger rear sway bar, and front sway removal. oh and let me update my sig too. hell horsepower house in bg was tellin me when my car was stock i could cold air, cam, stall, and lt header the car and be well into the 12s. ive done WAYYYYY more than that.

a ported intake is pointless at that power level. even with fully ported heads people do not see that much of a increase

and a 95 formula with a 150 shot and exhaust is not going to run anything close to a 11.50. not even remotely close

untill you do heads cam i dont think you will be able to even come close to a pullly/tune blower cobra, probally not even a stock one
