need some help on new tranny, stall and old mount.

ok guys,

i'll tell it short and sweet.......

94 TA (read sig for mods) with new tranny from LT1DAVE and a trans star converter(3000). was installed 2 weeks ago, 200 miles on tranny to date. installed jet hot long tubes and y pipe last week.

i'm using the 1le tranny mount i got about 3 years ago, and this is my problems.....

shifting car from P into R or D is really hard, its feels like it kicks the cars *** every time. shift from 1st gear into 2nd is even harder, like the car is gonna fall apart. if i give it gas and turn the car in any direction... i get a vibration so fast...it feels like its grinding something.

the hard shifts dont make a loose clunking noise, like somethings not right in the tranny... but more like something else? the tranny is great on the freeway, and its stays really cool.

later this week i had a small weight that was welded onto my converter come off and get knocked around my inspection tray. i called lt1dave up and he said dont worry about it... its not affected or causing the harsh shift down low. he told me to try another tranny mount, he reccamended the LS1 mount cuase its got some type of locking thing on it. so the metal wont break.

so now i think its my tranny mount, what do you think......... i've searched but no luck. the new mount will be here thursday

any ideas what these symptoms could be, i'm too tired to look at it, i tried to look earlier today and i started to remove the corss member that holds the mount, but the exhaust is in the way, no problem excpet the bolts are stripped from the exaust shops work.

i'm taking it to them, the guy owes me a favor...... but i dont wanna have to let these guys test drive my car if somethings gonna break. cuz i'm gonna have to pay for it.

anyone got an idea?

Ok, I am kinda confused here.
Is it just that the tranny engages hard? Like you shift into D or OD and the car jumps forward? My new tranny and stall does that, its the nature of the beast. If it is engaging real hard, like you can,t hold it with the brake then there is a problem.
My car also shifts hard into second, again that is the nature of a performance built tranny.
Get your new tranny mount in and see how that does.
I have a slight vibration in D at about 30 mph but then again it was there before the tranny and TC were replaced so I am not sure, it just might be the SFCs and gload brace and poly bushings transferring vibrations.
