Need some cam help. Adding 1.7 rr's to CC306?

I was thinking of swapping cams for some more lift but I fiquered why not just add some 1.7 rr's like the bolton guys do and my CC306 will have 570/600 instead of 540/570. You guys think it will make more power on the n2o with some more lift? LMK what you guys think. later Clint

Sounds good, just make sure your springs can take the added lift. And yes, it will def be good for more power.

Well looks like my springs are 987's which may coil bind at 600lift so I may have to scrap this idea. I think it may only make 10HP or so anyways so I may just swap the cam and springs later. Clint

i would go for it ! however i spoke with my head machinist here and he said that "in order to have the proper geometry you need to measure the pushrod length, may have to go to a .100 long and you have to check the retainer to guide clearance and of course have strong enough springs"

I've read the k-800 springs are good up to .700 lift.

What about piston to valve clearance? I don't know if there are any issues, but I'd sure check it out.JMHO
