need some advice.

is this I have a seaping head stud(under header flange and near dipstick hole and last I checked about one drop per fivemintes with no pressure) and ive seen a few suggest the gm coolant tablets and wondered if that would be worth trying as motor hasn't been fired yet and obviously id have to do the same repair if the leak did not stop and of course its a tough one to get at so header in the way and so on. Are these something I should retorque after a few heat cycles too? It seems if they need retorqued seeing if it will seal on its own or with the additive may be a decent idea given under pressure it doesnt go beyond the seap. Or should I just get it out, blow out the hole, clean and dry apply sealant(seems the permatex 3 aviation is popular) and put her back.Getting in a hurry and trying to work on a budget and my own ignorance is costing me but im learning the semi hard way as havent hurt the motor yet. I would appreciate any warnings and advice and recomendations. Thanks in advance
