Need sims and tune for !cats?

I was wondering if you can just get the cats deleted through a tune and not have to worry about getting any sims?

I was under the impression that they were a lot more than that but that seems likea deal. But say you get tuning, can you just tune out the rear o2s without any problems?

Yep, my cats were removed, and i had Ion at madz28.com tune my car and remove the cats from the computer. No more SES light, so if you want you can have th cats removed and the car tuned for a little more $

IMO tuning is a great mod all on it's own so I see no sense in using gadgets like sims and the like to do what you could have done with tuning since it will not add to the cost of tuning.

Just do an obd1 conversion, then you won't need to tune them out, and when you do tuning it will be cheaper to buy the stuff.

Good point says his location is SE MI which I believe has no testing atall so the OBD2 does not need to stick around should he chose the benifits of OBD1 suit him.
