Not really sure what you mean unless it is the pivot ball? (which is not available by itself from the dealer)

The T-56 has no pivot ball..... hence its TEE shape.....

LOL, I am an A4 guy and TEE hee. I now see the reasoning behind your wording.

Anyway, the book calls it a "clutch fork ball stud". It is listed as "not serviced" but you can get one included if you buy a transmission. Sound like a deal?

Thats the Dead end i came up with.........LOL

but, read in your manual... for the symptoms of transmission wont go into gear.......

"Bent or worn clutch fork and or pivot ball"

There are tons of people having these problems, including myself. The last time i had my tranny apart. I took a very close look at the fork and TEE. They both had an easy couple thousandths of wear on each.

Since the LT1 runs a "Tight Air Gap clutch"..... THOUSANDTHS COUNT...

This could be the reason there are so many people having these problems with there trannys.

But, to find out..... we need a Tee....

Maybe remove it an weld some metal on it and shape it back like original? Perhaps someone, somewhere makes a replacement.

I was looking at/inspecting that very part today befor I put my tranny in. I noticed a little bit of wear, but nothing to write home about. I just put a tiny bit of grease in there and put it back together.

Make sure to keep us posted on what you find out. Get me one too if you can, and I'll pay you for it. Just as long as it isn't over $30 or so. I can't see it being that much.

Forgot to ask, does one come with a new fork? You probably looked into this already, but just checking.

[infomercial]

But wait! That's not all!

With the purchase of a transmission you get:

-clutch fork
-bell housing (not sold separately in stores!)
-transmission to bell housing bolts (not sold separately in stores, either!)
-mounting stud for hydraulic clutch cylinder (again, not sold....!)
-clutch fork pivot "tee" (yada, yada, yada)

You must call now! (or whenever )

Operators are standing by.

[/infomercial]

Do you think NAPA might carry such an animal? They do have lots of weird stuff. <shrug>
