Alright well this is my situation:


Ive got a set of LE1 heads w/ 2.02 valves (950) that a friend wants to buy. He is offering me 500 + his old heads. The old heads are shooting out spark plugs. He thinks they just need to be re-tapped, but i think its worse than that.

I know a guy who can port my heads for free, but is it worth it to do this? He is a good friend of mine, i just feel like i can get alot more than this for my heads selling them on the boards. How much could i get for these heads on the board with only about 300 miles on them.

My car is also not running with a 383 rebuild in process.
