So obviously its illegal right? I remember awhile back i took my car to midas to have a cut out installed and they said they couldnt do it cuz it was illegal so wont i run into the same problem? Does it make a differnece in the sound of my exhaust? Is there power to be gained from this mod? Any other info would be great. thanks

 

I think the only difference is that it will not pass emissions that is why they do not want to install it.
