just as the title says, going to install it soon. Just wanted to know the gains i will get with this cam.

 

What do you think of the cam? Did you install?

well its a very streetable cam, haven't tuned it yet , for that same reason that the ecu does freak out or anything. My best time is in the sig, consistant 12.6's.

 

I am pretty impressed with your best e.t i have yet to get my engine in but should be in within the next few weeks. are you on stock heads? hopefulyl the fact i have le1 heads can get me a little lower. i don't know what what i would do with a 12.40 e.t

 

thats my best, but don't get me wrong i've hit it 12.49's like 6 times already, but thats the best its done as far as heads there stock.I remember when i wanted heads for my lt1 ,loyd told me that i would be in the low 12's w/ the tuning.but i haven't tuned because i'm building a 385ci w/ le2 heads, le4 cam . thats the reason i haven't done anything 2 this set up.

whats the specs on the 502? we had guys running 4:10's, small nitrous cam (no nitrous used on this example),headers, M6, CAI running 12.2's about 10 years ago. i mean that was a small cam. i think i have 1 video of 1 of those cars making a pass with that setup.

 

the spec r 218/ 224 .495/ .503 on 112lsa if i'm not mistaken. as far as mine is an auto, and it got 3.42 gears.Maybe w/ that and tuning i can hit those #'s

 

just an update on this cam in case anyone is looking around. I ran a 13.1 @109.64 with a 2.2 60'. this cam can be a mid 12's cam for me if i can learn to launch my car
