Need info on 383 swap

I am going to switch my lt1 350 for this band new 383 lt1 and I am wondering what all need to be done to help make the new 383 efficent? Also anyone know the going cost to switch the engines in a 95 z28?

A mechanic I know will do an engine swap on the side for $500.

Is this 383 a long or shortblock?

Freer flowing heads, cam, elec. water pump, Long tube headers, cut outs, Y-Pipe, cat-back.
