A water pump will run you about 50 bucks unless you get an electric one from CSI or something that will run you in the high 150's. You can take all the bolts off the pump but there's a whole bulch of stuff you gotta take off before the pump comes off. Brackets and stuff.

I did mine twice already. It aint hard at all, just time comsuming and frustrating because you have to remove all kinds of other crap just to get to the pump.

Not too hard,it takes time.Especially your first time. There are six bolts holding it on.You may have to pry it off.It is siliconed on.Clean the surfaces good.Use gaskets and silicone to reseal it when assembling.

i did mine yesterday, and its a lot easier if u take off the throttle body, and the coil. To make it easier to take the waterpump off and on (vice versa).
just my 2 cents

Dont exactly know what you are asking, everything is external for the water pump, it is driven by a gear driven off the cam sprocket, but it is all outside the timing cover. After you got the 6 bolts out just pull hard and thats it, clean the surface, slap new gaskets on, put some black RTV around the threads on the bolts and bolt it back on, all there is to it.

Just did mine today, you will need to remove the air pump and the bracket that holds the air pump also. Outside of that, disconnect a bunch of hoses and have at it. Helpful hint, get rid of all the stock clamps and get new ones in case your waterpump takes a dump within the month or so, ask me how I know. It will make doing this job easier the next time around.

our car have a timing chain not belt. i dunno what belt u r talking about, but dont worry about the timing chain. the water pump is 100% outside of the timing chain cover. just like what jonaddis84 had said.
