Need Help Selecting Camshaft for 383

Heres what its going to be: 96 lt1 block, stroked to 383
lt1 ported heads, lt4 intake,1.6 rr, 11:1 comp ratio, edelbrock headers w/y pipe, hydraulic lifters, progressive 150-200 shot N2O(wet). This is the car I go to work with, so streetability is of concern.
I already have the lt4 hot cam.
so:

1. what cam will take the most of my combo. or is the hotcam good enough?

2.should I upgrade the TB 52mm? 58mm?. thanks guys for your help.

The hotcam in a 383 will be way too small. How often do you want to spray? Do you want this to be an NA motor with spray or a total N20 motor? That'll play a big role in your cam selection.

A 58mm TB wont hurt with the extra cubes if you have the money.

I don't want to be critical of anyones build choice but I was curious why you are planning on running an LT4 intake on LT1 heads. The ports are taller on the LT4 and won't match up to the heads. You might want to save your money and reuse your LT1 intake as I can't see how you will benefit from the LT4.

As my post said earlier this is the car that i got to work in, I cant be going to work on spray...
so it will be a NA motor with the added benefits of occasional but regular (weekend racer type) use of N20

As fr the LT4 Intake I already have it, so I don t plan on throwing it away.

Thanks guys.

I recommend something like this for a real streetable 383 with occasional spray

Comp Cams 230XH Camshaft, 230/242 duration @ .050", .510"/.540" lift with 1.5 rockers, .544"/.576" lift with 1.5 rockers. Aggressive blower/nitrous cam for high horsepower apps

I personally cant stand a lopey motor for everyday driving so I'd go with a Xe 224/230 HL or 230/230/236 HL.

There are 2 ways to get tame power. Forced induction or REALLY GOOD HEADS.
