Need help with PCM connections
Hello all,
I am in a bit of a bind. I just installed a 95 LT1 engine, PCM and wiring harness out of a 95 Transam into my 93 Camaro Z28. Got everything hooked up, but right at the PCM, there are 2 large connecters (not one of the 4 connecters that actually connect to the PCM) that connect to the case that secures the PCM into the car, one is hooked up, the other has 5 wires running into it (two of which are light brown, one purple, one black and one red (I think)), but in my 93 Camaro, there is only one of those connectors. Does anyone know what that is for, It was suggested that its a connecter that powers the pop up lights in the trans am.
At any rate I checked my friends 94 Transam, and he had those two connectors, both of his are hooked up, but I could not trace the wires to see where they went. Does anyone have a 94 or 95 camaro that they could check for me?
Any help is greatly appricated because I don't want to start the car without knowing what that is for.
Also, is there a way to prime the engine without pulling the intake off? I figure there isn't.
Thanks in advance for all your help.
