Need help with Overheating

I just put in a new motor with cc503 cam and ported heads. Now its running hot. I bled the system several times, changed the t-stat(160), I cant find any leaks. The fans are working. Anyone have an idea for me?

It will get to 260 if I let it. I does take a little while to get there. I turn it off when it gets to around 235.

Perhaps the waterpump is not churning...Would make sense since it just slowly heats up. Doest anything change when the T-stat opens around 160? Such as does the coolant sensor stay stationary for a few minutes then continue climbing?
