Re: need help with leak

Is it leaking coolant or oil, and from where?
Or is the head not seating properly on the deck?

it is leaking coolant into the lifter valley it is like the heads arent seating right onto the block i used felpro gaskets for the lt1 i also used new arp head studs was wondering if they had to be retorqued after running the engine.

Are the head gaskets facing the right way? Some gaskets fit two ways but only one way is correct. Not sure about the Fel-Pro one for the LT1.
