My winter car is a 96' grand prix gt with the 3.4 bone stock. On a cold day it is hard to start and left at idle it will surge between 700-1500 rpms until it warms up, then the idle is steady at 1000 in park. I thought it was the fuel regulator so i put my press. gauge on the rail and it read 44psi running. When the vacum hose is off the reg. it jumps to 52psi, could it be the EGR or throttle sensor? Motor runs good otherwise. Thanx in advance for your reply
