need help with hard heater hose assembly. I searched google, shoebox, cz28 and Hayes

I need some instruction on how to install the two hoses and aluminum bracket. I got the old one out by cutting the aluminum tubes. I cant get the new one back in. I already removed the alternator, battery, disconnected the power steering resoviour, took off the bracket for a.c.evaporation canister and still cant get the assmy in. What all do I need to remove to get it in? I dont want to cut the crimpings off the new one, like in shoebox's how to. I was thinking i had to pry the bracket open and install each of the two hoses individually? Thank you.

I just had to wrestle with mine until I got it in. It's not easy. The small brace holding the two pipes together near the back popped off under the strain. After all was said and done, I wondered if it might have been easier to do from the bottom.

Thanks. I got it to go in pretty easily once I opened up that aluminum bracket and removed the bottom hose. Once it was in place I took a 1x2 and mallet ant tapped the bracket closed again. Much easier to do one hose at a time.
