looking at buying a a4 95 z28 no exhaust at no o2 sensores plugged in or egr fire up the car and it starts up the sputters and dies i kbnow havin no egr or o2's on its can cause this but is there nething else serious i should look for

 

you definetly need both, atleast o2's, you can have your egr tuned out of your pcm by madz28 tuning., how many miles??

the car should start with out o2's and egr. When you first start it it, it will be in open loop. If it notices anything missing like o2s, it will go into limp mode, but it should still start. By no egr do you mean that the tube from the exhaust manifold to the intake is missing or disconnected? if so, that would cause a HUGE vaccum leak. large enough for it not to run.

well i picked it up its at my house is seabrook, nh srry egr is hooked up but there is no 02 i think the plugs fouled out from being so rich with out ne o2 sensor

 

new plugs and still no go
